The George Werden Buck Boys and Girls Club of Joliet’s gala is an inspiring evening dedicated to supporting youth in our community.
Guests will enjoy an elegant event featuring live entertainment, impactful stories, and exciting silent and live auctions, all aimed at empowering children & teens with programs and opportunities that shape their futures. Join us as we celebrate the transformative power of investing in our kids today to build brighter tomorrows.
This event is Black Tie Optional.

Scouting America, Rainbow Council
2026 Commitment to Youth Award Recipient
Based in Lockport, Illinois, the Rainbow Council has serve youth and adult volunteers across three counties. At the Rainbow Scout Reservation in Morris, IL, Scouts experience year-round camping, learning, and personal growth. The Rainbow Council is dedicated to creating safe, inclusive environments where families and communities come together to prepare the next generation of leaders. Through character development, citizenship training, and a focus on physical, mental, and spiritual fitness, we uphold the values of the Scout Oath and Law, inspiring youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
The Cub Scouts have proudly partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Joliet through its Scouting Outreach program for more than 10 years. Throughout this long-standing collaboration, youth have gained critical life skills through engaging, hands-on experiences. Over the years, Club members have participated in a variety of enriching activities, including camping experiences, Pinewood Derby races, first aid training, and wilderness skill-building. These opportunities help youth develop confidence, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of responsibility. Congratulations Scouting American Rainbow Council!
