WHO IS MIKE ADLER?

​

Mike Adler humbly served the Boys & Girls Club of Joliet as a long time Board Member and Board President. Mike’s contributions and support to the Boys & Girls Club of Joliet is immeasurable and unmatched.

 

During his tenure as Board President, Mike provided key guidance to the organization during a time of economic hardship. Mike’s unparalleled leadership qualities were instrumental in alleviating the Club from distress, therefore setting a foundation that secured strength and success for the future of the Club.

Renovation Progress

WEEK 1

​

  • Center window panes were replaced

  • Arts and crafts room knocked down

  • Materials were carried up to the third floor

  • Lumber was delivered

  • Stairs created

  • Carpentry work began

  • General cleaning of the area began

  • Wall and ceiling patching began

WEEK 2

  • Drywall Placement

  • Restoration of restrooms, bathrooms and kitchen areas.

  • Replacement of cabinets and other furniture.

  • Completion of stairwell and storage areas. 

  • Painting of washrooms

  • Lighting fixtures installed

WEEK 3

  • Dry wall installation was completed

  • Painting process begins

  • Flooring installed for bathrooms

  • New drop ceiling for bathrooms installed

WEEK 4

  • Carpet installation complete

  • Boys and girls washrooms complete

WEEK 5

  • Final touch-ups
