After School Program

Serving all youth ages 6 - 17 yrs old.

Sports and Recreation
After school, students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports and recreational activities. These can include traditional team sports such as basketball, soccer, and volleyball, as well as individual activities like swimming or dance. Recreation options may include arts and crafts, board games, and Field Trips.

Life Skills Small Groups
Social and emotional classes for kids focus on teaching important skills such as empathy, communication, self-regulation, and problem-solving in a supportive environment.

Homework Assistance
Homework assistance refers to the support and guidance given to students to complete their assignments. This can include tutoring, resources, and tips for improving study habits.
STEM Classes
STEM Classes after school provide students with hands-on experience in programming, coding, and technology. Classes are led by experienced instructors.
Community Partners
The Club partners with local community organizations, such as the Joliet library, Cub Scouts, Girls Scouts, After the Peanut (STEAM), Compudopt and University of Illinois Extension to provide a variety of activities and resources for students to participate during after school hours.

2:30 pm - 3:00 pm: Choice-Based Free Play
3:00 pm - 3:15 pm: Snack Time
3:15 pm - 4:00 pm: Homework/Academic Enrichment
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Organized Recreation or Partner programming
5:00 pm - 5:30 pm: Supper
5:30 pm - 6:15 pm: Organized Recreation or Partner programming
6:15 pm - 6:30 pm: Choice-Based Free Play and pick-up
