2026 Summer Program

Serving all youth ages 6 - 17 years old.
(1st - 12th grades)

REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 30, 2026

The Boys & Girls Club of Joliet offers an action-packed 9-week program filled with exciting activities for club members! From swimming and field trips to arts and crafts, STEM classes, and team-building experiences, there’s something for everyone.

Kids can enjoy sports like soccer, basketball, and flag football, take part in field day challenges, and engage in hands-on academic enrichment activities. Join us for a summer of fun, learning, and unforgettable memories!
 

Summer Program Registration

Summer Program Fee is $40 per youth.  Registration must be paid in full at the time of enrollment.

No refunds will be considered after May 29, 2026.

Parent Orientation Schedule - Orientation is required for ALL summer participants. 

Monday, May 4, 2026, at 5:30 pm

Thursday, May14, 2026, at 5:30 pm

Monday, May 18, 2026 at 1 pm

*Sessions will be offered in both English and Spanish

Here are frequently asked questions (FAQs) about the Boys & Girls Club of Joliet Summer Program that parents commonly ask. 

 

1. Who can attend the summer program? The program is open to youth ages 6–17 years old. 6 year old must be in 1st grade.

 

2. When does the summer program run? The program typically runs for about 9 weeks during summer.

3. What activities are included? Children participate in a variety of activities such as: Swimming Field trips Arts and crafts STEM learning Sports (basketball, soccer, flag football)Team-building games Academic enrichment activities

 

4. Is there a cost? The program is designed to be low-cost for families. $40 per student Optional field trip fees)

 

5. Do caregivers need to attend an orientation? Yes. Parent orientation is required for all summer participants. Sessions are usually offered on several dates and in English and Spanish.

 

6. Is there an intake process for new families? Yes, new program participants must meet with program staff for intake. Intake duration 10 - 15 minutes

 

7. Is transportation provided? No. Caregivers must arranged transportation for their youth participants.

 

8. What should children bring? Typical items include: Comfortable clothes. Gym shoes. Swimwear (on swimming days) Water bottle. Any required forms or medications

 

8. Are meals provided? Snacks and meals are provided daily.

 

9. What if the program is full? If spaces are filled, children may be placed on a waitlist until spots open.
